From the second crop of Aclaim, sire of 1000 Guineas winner Cachet, and Listed winner Royal Aclaim in his first crop; this filly is a half-sister to two winners and an unraced Time Test yearling colt also owned by Quest Thoroughbreds. She was bought privately from Brookside Stud in the same week as the December Yearling Sale where the Time Test half-sibling was purchased. She left an immediate impression on both Luiz and Jordan with her imposing physique, and a deal was arranged on the day of visit to purchase her to be trained by Dylan, for Quest Thoroughbreds.

By the magnificent Magna Grecia, this athletically well-conformed filly has a solid, balanced pedigree, and good forward-going temperament... she is without doubt built for the racecourse. Not only does she hold a promising racing career ahead of her, but she also boasts some serious potential paddock value in the future.

From the first crop of Commonwealth Cup winner Eqtidaar, out of the Listed-winner Clinet who has produced six winners from seven runners to date including Exceed The Limit (Exceed and Excel) who won twice as a two-year-old in France. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a yearling by a first season stallion full of promise, and one who could well be a real ‘dark horse’ for the upcoming season. A racy, athletic type who can be expected to run as an early two-year-old all being well.

Fifth foal out of Dawn Of Empire, from the highly successful Juddmonte family of Cityscape, Bated Breath, and Logician. Dam has produced three winners from four foals to date, as well as a promising Dark Angel two-year-old maiden currently in training with Andrew Balding. This colt was without doubt one of the best yearlings of the sale, and is hopefully going to prove serious value at 28,000gns. He descends from a proven family that is still producing black-type winners (Old Flame won the G2 Linlithglow Stakes at Flemington 29/10/22), and is by a stallion in Saxon Warrior who is bred on one of the most successful lines in the industry. He has a real presence about him and really could be anything. Saxon Warrior is stamping some thoroughly professional racehorses and from what is evident thus far, this colt looks sure to continue that trend.

Half-brother to two winners and an unraced 2yo filly by Aclaim who Quest have recently bought privately, (shares will be available in due course). 2nd dam is a full-sister to Harifa, dam of ten winners including Rum Charger who herself gave multiple G1 winner Winchester. Time Test has made a fair start to life at stud and this particular colt was certainly a good value purchase and hopefully give his sire another winner next season.

Dam an unraced half-sister to Champion 3yo Miler, Bahri (sire of the top-class Sakhee, who himself sired the high-class Sakhee’s Secret), from a prolific black-type winning Shadwell family. Second dam Wasnah also gave Group 2 winner Bahhare (sire of multiple Group 1 placed Best Gift) as well as Istiqlal, dam of Group 3 winner Muqbil, black-type performer Mostaqeleh (dam of Group 3 winner Matera Sky), Hureya (dam of Group 3 winner Muthabara, and granddam of Listed winner Punita Arora), and Zaqrah (dam of Group 3 winner Rawaaq). Further, Wasnah gave the unraced Wissal, dam of winners including Listed winners Mudaaraah, Sudoor (dam of dual Group 1 winner Alfareeq), and Ethaara (dam of Listed winner Etaab), as well as Yasneen, dam of Listed winner Shaara, currently in training with John and Thady Gosden.
This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a filly from such an exceptionally successful family, at unprecedented value. Shadwell owned both of the foals out of Maayaat to have raced thus far, including Bint Elmalek (Kingman) who ran two races full of promise as a two-year-old in England, before being sold for 70,000gns at the December Mares Sale of the same year to Saudi Arabia (where she won one race as a three-year-old). The Eqtidaar filly being offered would only have to win a maiden to become a valuable asset, as a prospective broodmare. Hopefully she shows as much ability as Quest For Power (Eqtidaar x Clinet), another two-year-old in the Quest ranks.
